Hi there!

Check out this short video to learn more about my Mask design, features, care and more!

About Me

When I’m not flying...

If you know any Flight Attendants you probably know we need to stay busy. Since I’m a Flight Attendant with no flights I learned how to sew! I’ve known how to do minor sewing by hand since middle school, repairing buttons and  more frequently the inseam on my work pants, but never touched a machine until March, 2020. It's amazing what happens when we're faced with a crisis. While I can't serve smiles at 35,000 feet, I can cover yours up with a mask!

I’m no Christian Dior...

My Great Grandfather, Michella Pluchino, was a tailor from Sicily and made dresses for Mrs. Ford and Mrs. Rockerfeller, and in 1948 received this telegram from Christian Dior in appreciation for his help in launching his line in America. I figured I must have the genes to pull this off somehow! Luckily I caught on quickly and have been able to sew 10-20 Masks a day since then!  I’m proud of the Masks I am making but if you’re looking for perfection, I invite you to splurge on a real Dior mask.

We’re in this Together

I’ve had so many requests for Masks since I started making them that I needed to get a game plan and source suppliers for all the components such as fabric, elastic, and cord locks. The one thing I do have in full supply is time and passion to make sure my friends and family have the protection they need to stay safe. The timeline of how long we’ll likely need to maintain social distancing and don protective equipment seems to be extending so I’m rolling up my sleeves to help fulfill demand. I make the masks to order so once you place your order I’ll get sewing and ship it out within a week! I ship via USPS Flat Rate. If you need a rush order message me directly!

Good, Better, Best...

Never let it rest, 'til your Good is Better, and your Better, Best.

That's a motto I have lived by ever since Dr. P uttered those magical words freshmen year of college. I've learned a few tricks to improve the basic mask design I started with, so now I am on version 3. As I sew more, I learn more, and continue to make better, best! Some features include...

  • a wire nosepiece to form fit the mask around your nose.
  • cord locks to customize the length of the elastic for true one-size fits all sizing.
  • 100% cotton, dual layer fabric
  • two alternating fabrics to differentiate which side touches your face
  • pleated to expand from your nose to below your chin
  • machine washable for sanitization
